Factory Stereo/Radio Removal :
Removing the radio on this 1998-2000 Honda CR-V requires removing decrease dash panels on both the drivers and passenger sides of the vehicle. The radio is actually secured to the center sprint panel as one unit together with the air conditioner controls, and defrost button. 5. Now move to the panel under the steering wheel column. This panel needs to be removed. Find and take away one (1) phillips screw on the far left of the lower dash panel. This screw is positioned at the lower left corner of the trunk release button. Locate and remove one (1) phillips screw on the fitting side of the decrease dash.
6. Once both screws have been removed, the decrease sprint panel below the steering wheel column can be removed. The two (2) screws eliminated secured the underside of the panel, however the top is secured to the principle physique of the sprint with snaps positioned on the again of the panel. To unsnap the panel, pull firmly and the lower dash panel will separate from the primary body of the dash.
7. All screws securing the lower sprint panels have been removed. Now the radio meeting can begin to be removed. Pull the decrease plastic sprint panel under the radio to free it from the physique of the dash.

With your palms, firmly pull the radio assembly until it frees from the dash. Unplug a black cable plugged into the rear of the radio. Unplug 1 plastic wire harness connector plugged into the rear of the radio. Unplug all connectors hooked up to the air conditioner and defrost controls on the bottom of the radio assembly. As soon as all connectors have been unplugged, pull and completely take away the radio meeting from the dash.
